Graeme’s ink-redible gesture

AFTER auctioning his arm on eBay for charity, tattoo-lover Graeme Anthony has fulfilled his promise by having a Saddleworth-based company’s design permanently inked.
Raising funds for Education for the Children, the auction was eventually won by local Google Street View contractor Tour Media.
The firm specialising in Google Virtual Tours, was locked in a fierce battle against other bidders to have the design it wanted tattooed on Graeme’s arm.
Following a flurry of bids within the final hour, Tour Media was triumphant and in doing so became custodians of Graeme’s arm for £420!
The agency wanted the “Street Bee” tattooed on Graeme’s arm, fusing Manchester’s “Busy Bee” with a Google Street View marker.
Graeme said: “I was hugely nervous before being sent the design but Tour Media really delivered on an illustration that I instantly fell in love with. Ultimately I was very lucky and I’m so pleased that I’ve not only got a badge that I’ll wear with pride but in the process raised funds for the important work that Education for the Children does.”
