ROUGHYEDS fans met their promotion heroes at Spindles on Saturday as players paraded the silverware they won last season.

The League Leaders’ Shield and the League One Championship Rose Bowl were on show as Oldham rugby league stars signed autographs.

Joining them was club mascot Roary the Roughyed, whom the shopping centre will be sponsoring when the new season gets underway next month.

He is also expected to attend a new Saturday morning kids’ club the centre will launch soon.
