Bedroom raid fright

AN elderly resident had a fright when she woke to find a man rifling through her belongings in her bedroom last night.

The burglar casually walked out of the house in Victoria Gardens, Shaw, taking cash and other items at around 11.30pm. The victim was left shaken but unharmed. Two men found nearby shortly afterwards were arrested and are in custody.
