A CHEMISTRY student from Chadderton could still be in with a chance to win University Challenge, despite narrowly losing the first round.

Joseph McLoughlin was on the University of York team in the episode of the quiz show screened on Monday. York lost to Peterhouse, Cambridge, in the first round of the quarter finals with 165 points, 20 fewer than the Cambridge college. But a win in the next round could keep York in the running
