A Metrolink tram
METROLINK services from Oldham to Manchester stopped yesterday after a crash involving a car and a tram.
Commuters had to take replacement buses after the collision near the Westwood stop at around 11.30am. Trams couldn’t run between Oldham Mumps and Central Park in Newton Heath until the Hyundai Santa Fe SUV was removed from the line. There were no reports of serious injuries. Service was resumed around 90 minutes later
