Wrong-way shock for M-way driver

Dashcam footage has revealed the moment a car was caught driving the wrong way down an M62 slip road in Saddleworth.

The video shows a silver Volkswagen heading in the opposite direction down the one-way road at the motorway’s Saddleworth junction. A driver’s dashboard camera - commonly used to record incidents for potential insurance claims - was running as he entered the slip road and saw the silver car approach. The driver attempts to warn the other vehicle it is heading the wrong way.

The clip was recorded in September and was shared by the Dash Cam Network for the first time this week. It has had more than 6,000 views.
