Gantry removal work shuts M62

PART of the M62 will be closed tomorrow night while work continues on Greater Manchester’s £202 million “smart motorway” upgrade.
The section between junction 19, Heywood, and junction 20, Oldham and Rochdale, will shut between 9.30pm-10am while workers remove 40 metre wide, 130 tonne gantry posts spanning the roadway.
