Appeal to bag snatch victim

POLICE are appealing for the victim of a bag snatch theft in Royton to come forward.
A report suggested a woman was walking in Netherhey Lane in Royton when a man allegedly snatched her handbag and jumped into a purple VW Polo. A police spokesman said: “We are keen to trace this victim to ensure she is safe, uninjured and able to assist us.”
