TWO Oldham drug dealers have been jailed.
Sanjay Patel (35) of Mill View Court, Hollins, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin. Naveed Ahmed (35) of Burlington Street, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and the production of cannabis at an earlier hearing.
On Friday Patel was jailed for four years and Ahmed for two years at Manchester Crown Court.
Police launched an investigation into the pair in the summer of 2014. Tameside’s Challenger Organised Crime Team found they had been dealing drugs in Denton, Ashton and Audenshaw.
Officers searched an address linked to Patel and seized £5,000, mobile phones and a car worth £21,000.
