HUNDREDS of free bikes are heading to jobseekers across Greater Manchester to help them cycle to a new career in 2016.
Transport for Greater Manchester’s (TfGM’s) Bike Back to Work scheme has around 400 recently refurbished bicycles to help people commute to their new jobs.
Councillor Andrew Fender, chairman of the TfGM Committee, said: “This is a really worthwhile scheme which could help hundreds of people in Greater Manchester get to work.
TfGM can supply bicycles to job seekers in Oldham; apply directly through JobCentre Plus or a Work Programme adviser.
