A GROTTON beauty salon has enjoyed another crowning glory moment at a top industry award ceremony in London.

Staff from the Face and Body Shop - including therapist of the year finalist Lauren Speakman - attended the 2016 Guinot awards at the Montcalm at the Brewery hotel.

The salon again received “Guinot Crown Salon” status - recognition of skin care excellence - while senior beautician Lauren (28), recently named Guinot’s regional therapist of the year, narrowly missed out on the national title.

Salon manager Lisa McGuinness said the evening hosted by actress Joanna Lumley, was an “amazing experience” enjoyed by the salon’s hard-working team.
