New year dragon dance

JUST VISITING: the Chinese dragon at Lyndhurst Primary School.
YOUNGSTERS at Lyndhurst Primary School gave an early welcome to the Chinese New Year when they got a visit from some scary-looking dragons.
The mythical creatures paid a visit to the Heron Street school, Oldham, ahead of new year celebrations on Monday. The dragons took centre stage in assembly, then children attended workshops throughout the day to find out more about Chinese New Year and to get a close-up look at the creatures.
