Runaway car blocks Metrolink tracks

POLICE arrive to deal with the car, which had mounted the kerb and collided with the railings on Union Street
THIS was the scene yesterday morning in Oldham town centre when a parked car rolled down Union Street and blocked the tramlines.
The car mounted the kerb and crashed into the railings outside the Royal Oak pub. The driver wasn’t in the car at the time.
