YOUNG Latics defender Jack Truelove helped to officially open the new sports lab at University Campus Oldham (UCO).
The lab will help to ensure students on UCO’s new foundation degree in sport and exercise science have access to the latest equipment.
The campus is also currently developing a top-up degree so students can get an honours degree if they study for an extra year.
Course leader Valerie Ritchie-Littler - a former champion powerlifter - said: “The new lab is a fantastic opportunity for our students to evaluate and apply key theories to real-life sporting and performance situations.”
