ADORABLE: lurcher Jenas
WHILE love is in the air for Valentine’s Day, this loveless lurcher isn’t having much luck.
Two-year-old Jenas is hoping Cupid’s arrow will strike this year as he awaits a loving owner and home.
At nine months, Jenas is Manchester Dogs’ Trust’s longest resident at its Denton-based centre.
Staff are hoping to hook him up before Valentine’s Day on Sunday – especially as Jenas’s best pal, a beagle named Wendy, has now gone to a new home.
Dogs’ Trust support relations officer, Lucy Marsh, says Jenas is a sweet, friendly and affectionate dog and staff can’t understand why he hasn’t been taken.
“We are so fond of him and really want to see him find love this Valentine’s Day,” she said.
If you can offer him a quiet, adult-only home with a large, secure garden, call 0300-303 0292.
