Oldham Mountain Rescue members with the no-doubt grateful dog
A COCKER spaniel was plucked from a crevice at the top of Alderman Hill, Greenfield, by Oldham Mountain Rescue Team.
The animal escaped with a cut to its eye after plunging 7ft into the hole near Pots and Pans while walking with its owner.
The mountain rescue team was scrambled by police and freed the dog in a couple of minutes.
