Cannabis farm caused house fire

FIRE fighters tackling a house fire in Honeywell Lane, Hathershaw, discovered it had been caused by a cannabis farm in the attic.
Police are investigating following the fire at 2am today. Fire fighters extinguished the flames in the unoccupied mid-terraced house.
