Free park and ride extended

METROLINK passengers are to benefit from more free overnight weekend parking.
Launched in December, the offer allowed motorists to park overnight free at selected Metrolink stops.
The trial was due to end on March 5 but has been extended to July 30.
Passengers can enjoy a Friday or Saturday night out using Metrolink and leave their car at one of 15 trial sites, to be collected before noon next day. The sites include Hollinwood, Oldham Mumps, Derker and Shaw.
