OLDHAM bagged a share of an £11.5 million carrier bag charge fund after millions voted in Tesco stores up and down the country.
The Primrose Centre will receive £12,000, Oldham Council £10,000 and Moston Brook Friends Group £8,000 from the Bags of Help initiative, which sees grants raised from the 5p bag levy given to environmental and greenspace projects.
Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch the Bags of Help initiative and now the projects can come to life.
