FIREFIGHTERS work on the damaged Mercedes
AN electrical fault sparked a blaze which destroyed the engine of Mercedes car.
The Oldham-bound carriageway of Chadderton Way was closed while fire fighters dealt with the incident close to B&Q at 1.25pm yesterday.
The driver was alone in the car and got away uninjured
