Man, 87, found stabbed

POLICE are appealing for information after an 87-year-old man was found with stab wounds in Ashton yesterday morning.
Officers were called to an address on Mossley Road at around 8.30am and the man was rushed to the Royal Oldham Hospital for treatment. Inquiries are continuing.
