Struck down by mystery illness . . . Tehyah Debra Walker.
A FUND to help a disabled Royton girl who was left with brain damage after suffering a series of strokes has been given a £2,000 boost.
A funday at TLH Auctioneers in Chadderton raised £1,036 for the Princess Tehyah Fund, which is supporting six-year-old Tehyah Solan-Clarke. The total was matched by the Arkwright Street company.
Tehyah was three when she fell ill and suffered paralysis down one side of her face. Doctors initially misdiagnosed Bell’s palsy, but an MRI scan revealed she had suffered a stroke.
Teyah needed several operations and lost 90 per cent of her brain function following further strokes.
