CRIME-FIGHTING fighting cops across Greater Manchester are back on the beat when TV series “The Force: Manchester” returns for a second series.
The blue light documentary offering unprecedented access to Greater Manchester Police force is back on Sky 1 from Wednesday.
With 500,000 emergency calls a year and 200 arrests a day making it the UK’s busiest police force outside London, GMP’s 6,700 police officers have never been so in demand.
From dangerous high-speed car chases to dawn drug raids and violent weapon assaults, the 10-part series showcases the drama the force and its rapid response teams deal with on a daily basis, offering an in-depth and frank look at modern Britain through the eyes of its police officers.
Viewers will also meet the Force’s invaluable dog division, whose job it is to assist officers track and capture suspects.
