OFF track . . . this Citroen was spotted driving down Union Street on a ‘trams only’ section
THIS Citroen was the only thing moving along the tram lines on Monday.
As the Chronicle reported, a technical glitch meant that the Metrolink service was suspended for nearly five hours, leading to travel chaos for commuters.
There were no trams running throughout Oldham and Manchester until around 4.45pm.
And this motorist took advantage of the situation to drive along the tram tracks on Union Street – despite it being against traffic laws.
