Emergency work shuts off road

Resurfacing work taking place on Waterloo Street, Glodwick.

WATERLOO Street is to be affected by temporary road closures until the end of next week while repair works take place.

The emergency repairs and junction improvement works, which started on Tuesday, are between Hardy Street and Woodstock Street and are expected to last until May 13.

The work will see markings repainted and some road surfaces improved.
