MISSING ... Robert Norton
POLICE are appealing for help from the public to trace a missing Gateshead man who set off on a walk to Oldham.
Robert Norton (56) was last seen at an address in the Maltby area of Rotherham on Saturday, May 7 morning after travelling from his home in Woodbine Street in Gateshead.
He left the address, telling a family member he was going to walk to his sister’s house in Oldham.
However, Robert never arrived at the address and both his family and police are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
His disappearance has been described as out of character.
Robert is described as white, around 5ft 1in tall, of slim build and with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a navy polo top and a jacket.
If you know of Robert’s whereabouts, or have spoken to him since he was last seen, then call police on 101 quoting reference 1009 120516.
