Teens seal proms dream

THIS Oldham trio will be adding another string to their bows in July.
The young musicians will be part of an orchestra performing at the BBC's Ten Pieces Proms in the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Aaron Hartnell-Booth, Ellis Howarth and Maisie Butt will join the BBC Philharmonic and conductor Alpesh Chauhan in at least six of the 10 pieces that will be performed.
Aaron (18), who attends the Blue Coat School, has achieved a diploma in music performance.
He is the principal clarinet with the Hallé Youth Orchestra, Oldham Youth Orchestra and Oldham Youth Wind Band.
Ellis (18), also from Blue Coat, has achieved Grade 8 on the violin. He plays with the Hallé Youth Orchestra and attends the Junior Royal Northern College of Music.
Leader of the Oldham Youth Orchestra Maisie (17) has also achieved a grade 8 on the violin, which she plays in the GM Youth String Orchestra.
