Police appeal over stabbing

POLICE are appealing for information about a suspected stabbing in Oldham on Tuesday night.
Officers received a report that a man may have been stabbed in the Park Road area of Oldham around 10.30pm.
A short time later an 18-year-old man arrived at the Royal Oldham Hospital with a stab injury to his abdomen.
He is currently in a stable condition in hospital.
Four men were arrested in the area on suspicion of wounding.
Witnessed
All four have been bailed until August 22, pending further enquiries.
Detective Sergeant Tim Taylor, for GMP's Oldham borough, said: "I would urge anyone with any information about the incident, or who may have witnessed something in the area at the time of the offence, to please call police."
