Cover-girl Sonia tells her story

TEXTILE and handbag designer Sonia Ayaz, from Hathershaw, features in the latest edition of Oldham Business Edge magazine, published quarterly by the Oldham Evening Chronicle.

She is pictured holding the magazine with her on the front cover.

Sonia (25) has been supported by the Oldham Enterprise Fund, backed by Sir Norman Stoller, to launch her business and also selected for a Greater Manchester enterprise scheme backed by NatWest and KPMG.

The former Hathershaw College and Oldham Sixth Form College student completed a textiles degree in Manchester before setting up her own business.
