Driver in car crash escape

CAR-FLIP drama . . . the Honda Civic at Failsworth Pole
THE driver of a Honda Civic escaped unhurt after crashing his car into a pelican crossing pole.
Police and an ambulance were called to Failsworth Pole, Oldham Road, shortly before 11.30am yesterday.
The driver managed to free himself before the emergency services arrived.
The road had to be closed while the vehicle was removed, causing lengthy tailbacks. It re-opened after an hour.
