BUMPER amount ... staff and regulars at the Rose of Lancaster raised £7,500 for the Prostate Cancer charity
PREDICTING football scores and coming up with quiz answers helped a Chadderton pub and its customers raise £7,750 for charity.
The Rose of Lancaster, on Haigh Lane, raised the cash as part of its annual charity fundraising drive, which this year was dedicated to Prostate Cancer.
General manager Antony Walton said: "The Prostate Cancer charity is something which is very dear to the pub's heart as a couple of our regulars have been affected by it.
"We always try to raise as much as we can and we're happy with how much we managed this year."
