Progress on New Lidl Supermarket to Development in Royton on Former Royton Assembly Hall Site
THE sign is up and the structure is in place as construction on Royton's new Lidl store makes steady progress.
The supermarket, which was given planning permission by Oldham Council last year, is currently being built on the former Royton Assembly Hall site.
The 22,000sq ft store, built on land bounded by High Street, Middleton Road and Croft Head, will also contain 100 parking spaces, highway works and landscaping and plans are in place for the new store to open later this year.
