MUSICIANS from the borough and round the UK hit all the right notes at the Uppermill Summer Music Festival.
Running from July 9-16, the festival was a celebration of classical music.
The event also had a young musicians' competition to showcase some of the region's upcoming talent, and encouraging more junior players in pre-concert events.
The festival saw 23 musicians perform across several venues.
Concert-goer Pat Carter said: "It has been a great success. I have been able to attend every concert and been thrilled by the excellent range and skills of all the performers.
"There are plans afoot to have a similar event next year and for many of us, it can't come quick enough! To have such an event so close to home for many of us, is a joy and privilege. A huge thank you to all the volunteers and organisers and especially to Duncan Glenday who has been a brilliant director."
