HEALTH and wellbeing is the theme for this year's Bloom and Grow competition, as judges took their route around Oldham's entry into the competition.
The judges, Brian Whalley and Malcolm Ewbank, started their route at Dunwood Park, Shaw, before making various stops through the borough.
These included Dr Kershaw's Hospice in Royton, Gallery Oldham and Union Street in Oldham town centre. The route took the judges through High Street before finishing at the Mayor's Parlour.
Success
With its Wow Bed centrepiece, Oldham is looking to repeat its previous success and gain the Best City (based on population) in the North West title.
The centrepiece contains four key elements of a healthy lifestyle - oral hygiene, being active, nutrition and sleep. The winner will be announced later this year.
