Tot injured in car crash

A TWO-YEAR-OLD was injured in a car crash shortly before 12.30 yesterday.

An ambulance was called to the incident in Chamber Road, Hollinwood, which involved a green Honda Civic and black Volkswagen Golf.

The 149 First bus service was diverted via Heron Street and Oldham Road in both directions due to the collision.

A police spokeswoman said: "No-one was trapped in the vehicles. The road was not blocked.

"A two-year-old was involved in the incident but it does not look as though it has been a serious injury."
