A HEARSE was destroyed in a suspected arson attack at a funeral business in Glodwick.
Firefighters were called to Sabir and Syeds Memorials, Jarvis Street, at 10.45pm yesterday.
The hearse, which was not believed to be roadworthy and was being used for parts, was gutted. Fire crews prevented the blaze from spreading to a nearby building.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed that the incident was being treated as suspicious.
