Pedestrian hit by car

A MAN is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision yesterday.
The man suffered head and body injuries due to the incident which occurred shortly after 8.30pm near to McDonald's in Snipe Way, Ashton-under-Lyne.
No arrests have been made following the collision in Snipe Retail Park and police enquiries are ongoing.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "We were called last night to reports of a white BMW which was involved in a collision with a pedestrian.
"He has been taken to hospital with some serious injuries and has been kept in overnight for treatment.
"It is likely he will be kept in hospital today. It does not appear that his head injuries are internal."
