Blaze is tackled

FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a blaze in a terraced house in Mossley yesterday afternoon.
Crews were called to Woodbank Terrace at 1.45pm after a fire in the ground floor living room of a two storey terrace was reported.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus, hose reels and ventilation fans to tackle the fire and spent several hours damping down.
