Seaside fun comes to town

OLDHAMERS grabbed their buckets and spades and basked in the sunshine as the beach came to the town centre.
There was sunshine for the first day of Oldham by the Beach yesterday as youngsters enjoyed a large sandpit, Punch and Judy shows, donkey rides, trampolines, hook a duck and face painting.
And there's still chance to join in the fun as the event continues today and into tomorrow - as long as the weather holds.
