Before the courts

ANDREW JOHN WATTON (45), of Clifton Avenue, Oldham, was given a community order and must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work for assault by beating. He must also pay £100 compensation.

KYLE LEE AARON CRADDOCK (29), of Kirkfell Walk, Oldham, was given a community order and must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work for stealing gift sets worth £100 from Boots.

LIAM MICHEAL HOPKINSON (25), of Abbeyhills Road, Oldham, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £150 for damaging a front door.
