POLICE are investigating after three cars were set alight in separate incidents over the weekend.
A Toyota Aygo was destroyed in a parking area off Rochdale Road, Denshaw, at around 10pm on Saturday, and Peugeot 107 was gutted in Thorpe Lane, Lees, at 2am yesterday.
Meanwhile, a stolen car was set alight and destroyed at Park Bridge Visitors' Centre.
It is believed to have been driven along a cycle path from Oldham before being pushed down a hill near to the railway viaduct and torched.
Firefighters from Hollins attended the blaze in Ashton at 1.30am on Saturday, with the terrain making access awkward.
