Firefighters attacked

FIREFIGHTERS had bottles and stones thrown at them when dealing with a rubbish blaze in Werneth.
Crews from Oldham Fire Station were called to a fire behind Cambridge Street on Friday at 9pm when a group of youths targeted them.
A firefighter said: "We had bottles and stones thrown at us by the youths. When we turned on our CCTV camera, they all ran off."
