Car fires

FIREFIGHTERS from Chadderton attended two car fires yesterday.

Crews were called to Teesdale Close, off Broadway, at 7.30pm to reports of a car fire as a result of a blocked engine and then later at 12am to Russell Street in Chadderton with the cause unclear.

Both were put out at the scene and did no damage to the surrounding areas and no injuries were recorded. The fire on Russell Street is being treated as possibly suspicious.
