A Metrolink tram
TRAM customers are being advised to check before they travel on Sunday as planned maintenance work will be taking place across the Metrolink network south of Manchester city centre.
Engineers will be carrying out routine testing on the overhead electric lines that power the trams, limiting the services that can run.
A combination of reduced services and replacement buses will run until approximately 2.30pm, when Metrolink services are expected to resume.
Frequency
Services travelling through Oldham on the Rochdale to Exchange Square line will operate on a 12 minute frequency as normal all day.
But the MediaCityUK to Eccles and Northern Moor to Manchester Airport line will halt at 2.30pm when buses take over.
Customers should buy their tickets as usual from machines on tram stop platforms.
