Play area hit by young vandals

A GANG of youths set fire to a child's play area in Royton Park.
Chadderton firefighters were called to the park at around 9pm on Saturday and saw the youths running away from the scene.
The damage was confined to a small section of the wooden play set, which then had to be removed. Police were informed.
