Vandals target tram ticket machines

A METROLINK tram stop is unable to accept banknotes following vandalism.
The ticket machines at Derker tram stop are unable to accept notes after being vandalised in the early hours of Monday morning.
Passengers can still pay using credit or debit card, or coins and can also use the Get Me There mobile app to purchase a wide range of tickets.
Travel for Greater Manchester is working with their contractor to fix the machines as soon as possible.
