THREE 'N' EASY . . . Callum MacDonald has added the Golden Ticket title to his collection
WITH three belts in the bag, Callum MacDonald is targeting his most prestigious title so far in the tough-as-teak sport of MMA cage fighting.
The 27-year-old, from Greenacres, brushed aside Josh Turner to clinch the Golden Ticket Fight Promotions British bantamweight crown at the O2 Academy in Leeds.
It was another superb performance from MacDonald, who stopped his opponent after two minutes, 13 seconds of round one.
REFEREE
'The Mac' said: "It was mint. The referee had to end the fight, he had no other choice."
The Golden Ticket title follows on from successes in the Almighty Fighting and Fightstar Championships.
MacDonald is now preparing for the Tanko British bantamweight honour at the Victoria Warehouse, Manchester, on May 12.
He boasts an impressive MMA record of six wins and just two defeats from eights fights - but is unbeaten after moving into the bantamweight division. All of his victories have come inside the first round.
