Roughyeds tamed by Lions

RICHARD LEPORI . . . scored Oldham's only points on a disappointing afternoon
Swinton Lions 26, Oldham RL 4
OLDHAM RL's woes continued as they succumbed to fellow Kingstone Press Championship strugglers Swinton Lions.
The Roughyeds, with coach Scott Naylor banished to a seat in the stands because of a touchline ban, only had a Richard Lepori try to show for their efforts at Heywood Road.
In contrast, Lions crossed on four occasions through Chris Hankinson (two), Rhodri Lloyd and Jack Murphy. Chris Atkins kicked four goals.
Oldham remain ninth in the table, a point of ahead of Lions and three in front of Dewsbury Rams, who defeated Bradford Bulls 38-12.
