Oldham RL 14, Toulouse Olympique 12
OLDHAM RL ended a run of eight straight defeats with a superb win over Toulouse Olympique in the Kingstone Press Championship at Bower Fold.
Trailing by two points at half time, Scott Naylor's side fought back to claim a vital success in the battle to avoid the drop.
Steven Nield and George Tyson scored tries for Oldham to the delight of the home supporters. Dave Hewitt kicked three goals.
Toulouse went in through Sebastien Planas and Charlie Buzinac, with Mark Kheirallah adding a goal in each period.
The result lifted Oldham above Swinton, who lost at Sheffield Eagles, and out of the two relegation places.
