INJURY-STRICKEN Oldham RL scored five tries, but it wasn't enough to overcome Sheffield Eagles in the Kingstone Press Championship.
Adam Clay, Michael Ward, Luke Adamson, George Tyson and Connor Williams dived in for the Roughyeds at the Beaumont Legal Stadium. Dave Hewitt and Scott Leatherbarrow kicked two goals apiece.
Eagles replied with eight tries of their own, which included a hat-trick from Garry Lo, while Simon Brown landed five goals for the mid-table outfit.
Oldham remain third from bottom in the league as Swinton Lions were beaten 42-20 at home to Dewsbury Rams. Basement side Bradford Bulls lost 23-16 at Batley Bulldogs.
